LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS RAILWAY - Robert Heath No. 6

LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS RAILWAY - Robert Heath No. 6 in steam. One of the real unique gems of the steam collection at Foxfield, this is a thoroughly local engine and a very remarkable survival. Robert Heath & Sons were well known local ironmasters, at one time reputed to be the largest producers of bar iron in the world. Furnaces, forges and mills were operated at Black Bull, Biddulph and Ford Green, together with collieries and a network of private railway lines. From the late 1880s the company even had running rights over parts of the North Staffordshire Railway to Congleton. To work these lines, Heaths not only bought locomotives, they also made their own. The original source of the design of Heath's four-wheeled locomotives appears to be one bought new from Falcon of Loughborough in 1885, and numbered 8, though little is known about the loco fleet at that time. Very quickly Heaths set to work to copy it, which was no mean achievement even for an established engineering workshop. It seems that every component, even the boiler, was constructed at Black Bull. The first copy was number 6, although it is not known what the Falcon company thought about its latest product being so blatantly copied by a customer within a year of delivery! Heath's went on to build a further eleven four-wheeled locomotives up to the First World War, and they were gradually modified and rebuilt over the years. In addition two six-wheeled locomotives were built in 1915 and 1924 based on a much rebuilt ...

Spring is here, the school is off, the girls go biking together. Athena, Anna, Angelica and Claire went to the Botanic Garden through the bike trail! It was really fun, the two wheelers and the four wheelers all did a great job. And they even ride back the same way after the tour of the garden. The name of the song is 春天在哪里(Where is spring?)

ATV Four Wheeler Ride 14 - Trevorton, PA - Hill Climb

Took a trip up to Trevorton, PA in March 2008. The riding was awesome. Trails, fire roads, giant slag piles, mud holes,,, whatever you were looking for, it was there. I had a great time and met some very nice people. And I'd rather spend $50 in the town of Trevorton, rather than wasting it on Tower City's bull-shit fees, and there shitty hotdog stand.

ATV, 2004 Honda Recon In Dammed Up Creek

Me and some friends of mine in Brown Mountain, North Carolina riding at the state owned OHV / ATV park. They also allow dirt bikes and trail bikes. It was some very good riding and only cost $5.00 for the whole day! They require you wear a helmet which is almost like every other place you go now days. These trails here are very very rough and challenging and I do not recomend this place to go riding at unless you are a very experienced rider and know your vehicle very well. We rode all day until I got wet up to my waist which you see in the video. The views here are awesome as it gets and the trails take you all the way to the cliffs of parts of the mountain. There are plenty of trails to where you should not be able to ride them all in one day, We did'nt ride them all for sure. All the trails are numbered so you know where you have been and they do offer maps of the trails. Check my other videos for the views we recorded, and other mud holes we tried out. This is definately a five star place to ride.

4-Wheelin' in Tabusintac

The Murrays invited folks with a 4-wheeler to Tabusintac to have a day to enjoy the countryside and meet some great people. The event was to be a celebration of their son, Craig Murray's life and to raise a bit of money for Diabetes Research. Someone counted no fewer than 67 4-wheelers! The rain we had seen for about a week broke near noon hour and the sunlight on the Autumn trees made the woods a spectacle to behold! What a great day!
